Jennifer Hewlett of the Lexington Herald-Leader has written the best tribute yet to gospel music legend Dottie Rambo. Rambo, 74, died early Sunday morning when her tour bus crashed near Mount Vernon, Missouri.

    This was indeed a wonderful tribute. I’m afraid that, like so much of modern gospel music, I’m not familiar with her work, but if she was half the person that this article makes her out to be, she was an amazing woman.
