Recession hits Southern Baptist Convention?

flockwood

The number of Southern Baptist missionaries will be cut back, The Tennessean reports, due to a sharp drop in giving.

It’s unclear how much of this drop is due to the economy. It may mean money is tight, or it may signal a weakening commitment to reaching the “unchurched” (formerly known as the “unsaved” or even “the lost…”)

Perhaps it isn’t just the ECUSA that is suffering in this economy. . . .

No problem! We’ll just sent out more! ;-)
