Not at all surprising. When we straight folks finally experienced what it’s like to be around gays, we discovered that just about everything we were taught about homosexuals was a bunch of hooey. It turns out that gays are really pretty ordinary folks. Once you realize that the laws are based on fear and hate instead of reason and fairness then it’s only natural to take a stand for freedom. It’s good that a majority of Americans have figured that out by now but I sure wish that the rest of the folks would be accepting of their fellow citizens.

I agree, Jose. And there is no legitimate reason to discriminate against gays and lesbians. Any animosity toward them is necessarily related to religion, which is not supposed to govern our laws and policies.
