Robert Short, who wrote the best-selling and ground-breaking book “The Gospel According to Peanuts” died this week in Little Rock, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports. Short’s “Gospel According to…” pop-culture treatise inspired dozens of similar knock-offs, including “What Would Buffy The Vampire Slayer Do’ and “The Gospel According to the Simpsons.”
