Well, this is modern Christianity, get used to it.
Flashy music, flashy pastors, worship leaders, and no big words. Consumer society to the max. They say they want to show how great Heaven will feel by comparing it to how great it feels to win a new car. Huh? It’s great that the church has millions of dollars to give away, but shouldn’t they be giving that money to poor people, rather than as door prizes to bribe people to go to church?
This may be something, but it’s hardly the message of Jesus, a man who is not alleged to have ever owned anything beyond the clothes on his back.
