Guess this all depends on what your definition of submissive is, but I bet this one is going to get a lot of responses and some very good debate. Quite the interesting article.

I read this article, in all honesty, I never noticed there were any rules given to Adam and Eve until after their fall in Genesis 3. I believe the man should be the head of the house, I can’t speak for everybody, I know I never make a decision in my house, without talking it over with my wife, she’s my helpmate, I didn’t marry her because I wanted a slave, I married her because I love her, I would hate to be hooked up in a relationship where there wasn’t some sort of mutual agreement or common goals between us, to me, there is nothing more beautiful than a good marriage, but there is nothing as bad as a bad marriage. My wife and I always don’t agree, but we always communicate. I know when we both need our space, I get on the lawnmower, or go to the garden for awhile, it doesn’t pay to yell, stay mad, and carry grudges. We also have our us time, we both love our grill and having a few family and friends over, as a rule, I try to keep our home life balanced, I think that’s what the Lord meant us to do. It’s not all fun, fun, fun, but it shouldn’t be all stress, headaches, and fussing. I don’t go for that slapping around stuff, I like to see all marriages work out, but if it get’s to the point of violence, I can see where a separation or a divorce comes in, I don’t believe the Lord meant for people to beat their spouse.

With a friend of the abused like that yahoo Ware, who needa another vengeful God-substitute?
This is yet another instance of the self-destruction of SBC fubndamentalist theology.
