    Actually, Carol, that quote is usually attributed to Thomas Tusser, who was English. But everyone thinks that every epigram is Irish for some reason.

    Mike, this is a parody. He is making fun of people who believe in this rapture stuff. Trust me, he doesn’t believe that anyone is going anywhere or that anyone will send him fifty bucks.
