Assemblies of God kids’ program drops ‘crusade’ label

The Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade (BGMC) will now be called the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge.
According to the Assemblies of God website “…the word crusade is hard for kids to understand. They don’t know what crusade means. We’ve also found that use of the word crusade has become offensive to some people.”
