A great article on the world’s highest-circulation magazine
flockwoodIt’s not necessarily the most-read magazine. But it’s got the highest circulation, according to the New York Review of Magazines.
So what is this 25-million-copies per month publication?
The Watchtower.
My hat’s off to the author of this article.
I’m not a Witness. Never will be. But I’m thankful for the Witnesses in Magalia, Calif. who stop by and say hello to my 83-year-old grandmother. She looks forward to their visits. They brighten her day. And she’s grateful for it.

I don’t know any Jehovah’s Witnesses, but the level of childhood sexual abuse in their denomination is very high, because of their policies of secrecy, much like that of the Catholics. My grandmother used to hide when they came around and act like she wasn’t home. But of course that tended to be her reaction to anyone else coming around, too.

Witness for God in serving humanity is excellent job e.g. home visit for advanced age people, discussing with biblical story for understanding God and salvation etc., but distinguishing themselves as special believers for selling membership of the Church which was created for the sake of a name (“Jehovah”) of Holy God is ridiculous. Holy God is spirit and truth, God Himself is important for our life. Witnesses rang my home bell too and delivered me The Watchtower, I read some articles.

I try to not use the term “never” – I am mortal. Did any one ever hear the term”There is more happinesses in giving than in receiving”? Anyone care to know who said it?
